Sphinx is a reinvention of the treacherous hybrid which is often found in Greek and Egyptian mythologies. There are many varieties of the beast: this is hybrid between a bird, a lion and a serpent. Cast from ciment fondu with steel reinforcements.
Inspired by Brancusi's work, Orbits is an exploration of the human figure using simple abstract masses. Orbius was cast from ciment fondu and Flowfill grout and stands at approximately 1 metre in height.
